Ciatarelli and Simon named "Taxpayer Heroes", Greenstein, Turner and and four other Democrats representing Mercer cited as "Taxpayer Zeros"
Americans for Prosperity - New Jersey released it's Taxpayer Scorecard - which rates the performance of every elected state representative based on their votes in the 216th Legislative Session (2014-15).
In both the 14th and 15th District all three representatives — State Senators Linda Greenstein (14th) and Shirley Turner (15th) — as well as the four state assembly members in that district — Wayne DeAngelo and Dan Benson in the 14th and Reed Gusciora and Elizabeth Muoio in the 15th — received Taxpayer Zero Ratings. All six earned grades of 10% or lower when it comes to voting in the taxpayer's interest. Greenstein voted in the taxpayer's interest just 1% of the time, the lowest mark amongst the Mercer County delegation.
Both Jack Ciatarelli and Donna Simon — members of the Assembly in the 16th District — were the only two representatives of Mercer County to receive Taxpayer Hero ratings for their favorable voting record when it comes to fiscal responsibility.
